A California Pacific Conference occurs as college athletics conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). A conference commissioner is Doug Weiss of California State University, East Bay. Conference leadership is shared among a member institutions. A conference was formed around 1996.

Conference members range from either members of the California State University system to religious and liberal arts colleges

California State University, Monterey Bay is a former member of the conference. CSUMB left a NAIA & California Pacific Conference for Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Sports sponsored
For men, a CPC sponsors basketball, cross country, golf, and soccer. For women, a CPC sponsors basketball, cross united states, golf game, association football, & volleyball. Notre Dame delaware Namur is the sole school that competes altogether sports; Mills College, existence the women's college, competes around merely iii sports.
